Intellectual property is Steve's first love in the law, and remains a focus of his practice. Steve has been involved in copyright, trademark, trade secret, and related issues since his time at St. John's University School of Law, where he won the Nathan Burkan Competition and national third place in the Computer/Law Journal Competition. In his 18 years of practice, Steve has participated in intellectual property litigations large and small. He is a former editor of the Technology Law and Policy Review column for The Colorado Lawyer magazine, and former co-chair of the Colorado Bar Association's Law and Technology Committee.
